I see all of the 5 star ratings people gave but mine is not going to be one. I gave them plenty of business prior to asking them to install a window that I ordered based on their measurements. They ended up using their own window because their guy measured wrong. Their window had no screen and I still don’t have one. I gave them the one they ordered wrong and it had a screen.I had roof work done by them but it ended up still being a problem and someone from Northfield came to look at it back in January. Other than telling me to wait for better weather, I have not heard back from them in spite of me contacting them. I ended up getting it fixed by a qualified roofer. Bad ending to what I thought was a good relationship.

We used Northfield Handyman a few times over the past year for projects and they are great. They are always on time, efficient, and great to work with.Later last year we had a major issue where a pipe cracked under our upstairs tub. There was water damage through the kitchen downstairs all the way to the basement. An environmental crew came asap to mitigate.We were stuck with open ceilings, walls, and broken cabinets due to the mitigation needed. The water went everywhere.Thank goodness we called Northfield. They were nothing short of amazing. Their estimate came back asap and was within the insurance costs. They had plumbing, electrical, and carpenters over and working together daily to repair the damage.The plumbing crew replaced our tub and the broken pipe and it looks awesome. The electrical crew rewired the outlets and also fixed our dimmer switches.Carlo's, Patrick, and Barry are superstars. They do amazing work and communicate every step of the way. We could not have asked for a better team. We can't wait to work with them again on our next project large or small!We could not recommend Northfield enough!

Northfield Handyman seemed like a good fit for our project which was paint the outside fascia boards on 2 sides of our house and paint one exterior wall. We were told they charge by the half day or full day. Rates about $450 for half day and $950 for full. We thought it would be 1/2 day or one full day at most. Also, we supplied all the paints, rollers and brushes. They said they would charge us $145 to check it out and quote the time. The regular handyman Pat checked it out but then they wanted to have a painter come out instead. The quote I got back was $1,500. We thought it was too much so I did it myself (2 coats) in 4 hours (I worked 2:15 and wife worked 1:45). The guys were nice but I'm not going back to any place that charges $145 for a quote! Also it did take weeks to have somebody look at it.

I have known and worked with Norman Lee for many years, so I was not at all surprised to learn about his company, Northfield Handyman Services. I expected nothing but the best, and that's exactly what was delivered. I recently moved into my home in E Derry, NH and had a long list of tasks I needed help with. Norman and Corey (his Project Manager) were able to fit in a half day with two of their top handymen, Carlos and Pat. They arrived on time, got straight to work on my varied list which included hooking up my washer / dryer, reassembling my Cybex Arc Trainer, disasembling furniture that the movers couldn't, and moving it -- reassembled perfectly to various parts of my home.Pat and Carlos were professional, quick to finish, and even had extra time to get to a few other tasks that I had slated for a future date. From the first phone call to waving goodbye as their vans pulled out of my driveway, it was a seamless process. I have worked with my share of handymen over the years, but my buck stops with Northfield. They are professional, fairly-priced, competent, and working with them was overall an enjoyable, hassle-free experience. I cannot recommend this team highly enough! I'm already making my list for the next day of "renting a husband," and look forward to working with them again!
